Sobieszepty is us: Ania, Szymek and our wonderful, energetic three children: Kubuś, Jaś and Hania, who, in addition to being the love of our lives, give us strength and motivation to act. It is thanks to this strength and motivation that the idea of creating Sobieszepty on the ecological Sobieszewo Island, among the whispers of nature, came into being. It is a gem for nature lovers. ‘Ptasi Raj’ and ‘Mewia Łacha’ nature reserve attract ornithologists and nature lovers from all over the world. The island is a coastal pine forest, which incessantly lulls us with its humming, but here is also the immensity of meadows and fields with eagle families. We were particularly captivated by the blissful tranquility and the slow rhythm of typical village life. But the Sobieszewo Island is also a place for lovers of the urban jungle, as Tri-City, offering a power of attractions and entertainment for people of all ages with different tastes and expectations, is located in the immediate neighbourhood.
From our kids' earliest years, we tried to instill in them curiosity about the world and desire to travel. We traveled a lot in search of places that were warm, cozy, atmospheric and made of natural materials. We found it difficult to get all our desires fulfilled in one place. Therefore, we decided to create our own place on earth. The place to which we decided to invite you.
We have come a long way from our idea to its implementation. The way on which we met wonderful, kind and committed people. We really wanted the interiors of our chalets to be comfortable, ecological (most of the furniture was made by ourselves with the use of reclaimed materials), and at the same time interesting and unusual, which would be difficult to achieve if we could not count on friendly artists and people of art. It is difficult for us to mention everyone that supported us and whose help we could always count on. We thank you all together and each of you individually.
So, we would like to invite you to the fully authorial, completely our own and we hope one-of-a-kind site. Our dream is for it to become for our guests a place where they will come back with pleasure, where the whole families will meet, but also where new friendships will be made. The place where we will take care of one another, where everyone, regardless of views, social status and any other differences, will feel carefree and safe. We invite you to help us to create the atmospheric space of respect, friendship and balance.
